Sr. Accounting Analyst

Job Details

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team! The ideal candidate be bilingual in English and French and will have at least 5-10 years’ experience in accounting experience, including supervisory experience.

Job Responsibility
  • Supervise a team to deliver accounting services and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
  • Oversee the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, approve and review financial reporting entries, reconciliations, statements, and reports.
  • Monitor performance of accounts receivable and cash management operations, track and report trends, and contribute to forecasts and reporting.
  • Provide advice and guidance in the development of accounting policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes.
  • Advise on cost driver analysis, allocation and re-allocation of actual costs, and correlation to budget allocation.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and review operational processes for effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics, and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
