Intermediate Accountant

Our client a large real estate company based in GTA has an immediate opening for an Intermediate Accountant.

Job Responsibility

Reporting to a talented team of Financial Managers / Coaches the Intermediate Accountant will work as a member of a large team assisting with the preparation of year-end and interim financial statements, corporate tax filings, as well as ad-hoc requests relating to real estate projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Qualifications
  • CPA Accounting designation or working towards
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience working in an Accounting Firm
  • Real estate industry experience is an asset (homebuilding, land development, commercial development and or property management),
  • Knowledge of Excel and CaseWare
  • Well organized with the ability to follow documentation protocols
  • Self-motivated, energetic and the ability to multi-task without sacrificing the quality of work
  • Highly detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and ability to focus on the task at hand
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
